Kanti Patel: A Man with a Vision
Mr. Kanti Patel, CEO and President of Jalaram Hotels, has been hard at work in the lodging industry for more than 30 years. He humbly began building his company after purchasing a San Francisco motel he first managed in 1975. Four years later, Mr. Patel sold that motel, purchased and later re-sold a second property in Oregon. Finally, in December of 1979 he moved to northeast Florida and began building his portfolio of properties known as Jalaram Hotels, in Jacksonville, Orange Park, and Saint Augustine.
From 1979 to present, Mr. Patel has continued to buy, renovate, and build new properties, ever expanding the company. Though facing the ongoing challenges that accompany conversions and new construction, Mr. Patel remains determined and committed to historical preservation and community integration in each of his projects.
Today, Jalaram Hotels owns and operates thirteen highly successful hotel properties with new projects under development. One of his more popular and recognized properties is the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront; an original conceptualization of Spanish Colonial architecture elegantly integrated into the historic landscape of the nation's oldest city.

Their mutual goal of delivering outstanding comfort, customer service, and satisfaction to their patrons is unrivaled in northeast Florida. Plans for further expansion include construction of new and renovation of existing properties well into the future.
