Jalaram Hotels Inc. is a dynamic, expanding hotel ownership and management company based in Northeast Florida, with a wide range of hospitality jobs available with our hotels in Jacksonville and St. Augustine, FL. The company represents a number of different franchise flags and will soon add two new properties to the existing group. At present, we are recruiting qualified hospitality professionals for the fields listed below. These positions are excellent career opportunities with an eye toward advancement within the company. Jalaram properties are small- to medium-sized, limited to full service and are located in the St. Augustine and greater Jacksonville marketplace.

General Manager and Assistant General Manager

Job Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills
• Proficiency in all areas of hotel management
• Ability to analyze rates and results to maximize hotel profitability
• Maintenance of properties with strong attention to detail in accordance with brand standards and the exacting standards of Jalaram Hotels
• Ability to interact with guests in a positive and productive manner
• Attention to goal setting and motivation of employees at all levels
  

Director of Sales

As a Sales Director/Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the revenue and profit goals for your property are met and exceeded through the execution of your sales plans. Responsibilities will include development and execution of sales plans, client solicitation and outside sales calls as well as maintaining relationships with existing clients. The Director of Sales will report directly to the General Manager and work with the Sales Departments in the other hotels to cross-sell properties in our organization.

Job Requirements:

• Professional sales individual with strong desire to outperform the competition
• Market knowledge
• Ability to present information about the hotel both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of tracking, analyzing, following up and closing business
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Sales office organizational skills with basic ability to use a computer
