From his keen sense for site selection to his decades of experience and talent in the development of new properties, one-of-a-kind designs, and high-style renovations, Kanti is irrefutably committed to beautifying the community, maximizing the comfort of his guests, and exceeding brand requirements in style and design. He is also a devoted supporter of and actively involved in the communities in which he lives and conducts business; well known for frequent and generous contributions to local charities.


Kala Patel


Responsible for keeping the company's financial affairs in check, Kala Patel organized, staffed, and has meticulously managed the Accounting and Finance Departments since inception. Her high degree of intelligence, vast experience, and innate attention to detail along with her warm and outgoing personality are the anchor of this dynamic company's past and future successes.


Vik Patel

Chief Operations Officer / COO

Vik Patel is the Chief Operations Officer of Jalaram Hotels. He is responsible for all day-to-day activities and has an integral role in strategically guiding the growth plans of over 10 hotels. Vik is also involved in site identification/development for new franchises in the Northeastern Florida region.

Vik developed his first property in 2006 in Jacksonville, Florida. Since then, he has been involved in multiple renovation and construction projects for brands including Marriott, Hilton, Best Western, and Holiday Inn. Though facing the ongoing challenges that accompany conversions and new construction, Vik remains determined and committed to historical preservation and community integration in each of his projects.

Vik and his father Kanti Patel are dedicated to making history in the St. Augustine and greater Jacksonville area. Vik's expertise reaches far beyond development. Vik has an expertise on the property level in procurement, identifying hotel efficiency, guest satisfaction tracking, revenue management and labor controls.


Tom Manno

Vice President of Hotel Operations

As Vice President of Hotel Operations Tom is responsible for operations of the Jalaram Hotel Group’s 10 hotels in the St Augustine/Jacksonville area. “Our focus is our employees and guests, every hour of every day” says Manno. “Our team works hard to select the best employees in order to do “whatever it takes” to provide exceptional guest services.”

Tom’s experience includes the disciplines of sales, marketing and operations in golf and spa resorts and convention hotels. He has worked with the Hyatt, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Westin and Sheraton brands. Over the years has worked with new builds, transitions, conversions, renovations and market repositioning.

Manno is a graduate of the College of New Jersey with a BS degree and is married with 2 daughters living in Ponte Vedra Beach Fl.


Mya Patel

Director of Human Resources

Mya Patel serves as Director of Human Resources Human Resources for both the Jalaram Hotel Group and Vista Management. She is responsible for the implementation of human resource practices for the companies which includes recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee recognition and legal compliance.

“Our most important assets are our employees,” say Ms. Patel, “and we work hard every day to ensure that our employees have the work environment in order to provide service excellence to our guests.

Mya has been with the company for the past 6 years. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a BS degree and Texas State with a MS degree.


Norman LeBert, CHA

Area Director of Operations

Norman LeBert is responsible to plan, direct, and coordinate the organizations operations. He is responsible for improving efficiency, performance and profitability of all properties within the Jalaram Hotels portfolio. He initially began his career with Jalaram Hotels more than 24 years ago as a Bar Manager and has progressively worked his way up through positions of varying and increasing responsibilities. As General Manager of the then 200-room Clarion Hotel and Conference Center Jacksonville Airport, Norm led the hotel to be recognized in the top 5% of the brand. Norm's positive disposition, loyalty and analytical skillset are attributes upon which his team relies.


Sid Dua

Director of Revenue / Operations

Sid is leading the revenue effort of the Jalaram Hotels portfolio by working directly with the Revenue Managers and hotel teams in the strategic positioning of each hotel to drive top line revenue and grow market share.

Sid has over 10 years of hospitality experience in a diverse range of positions within full and select service brands. He started his career in a Front Office management role that led to a General Manager position with Jalaram Hotels. Sid has experience with multiple brands that include Best Western and Hilton. Later he joined their corporate ranks as Director of Revenue Management and Operations.

Sid holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Oklahoma City University.
